Ayurveda Workshop – Mystic Meadows Yoga

Mindful eating and yoga go hand in hand and complement each other. A regular yoga practice can encourage mindfulness in making food choices to support one’s health and well-being. Ayurveda is one of the world’s oldest holistic healing systems. Originating in India 5,000 years ago, it relies on a natural and whole-body approach to physical, mental and emotional health. Join Lexx for an introduction to Ayurveda to learn how the simple and effective practice of Ayurveda can help bring your body back into balance as we pivot from one season to the next.
In this workshop you will:
➡ Learn the basic principles of Ayurveda – history, health benefits, and modern applications
➡ Discover your Dosha (body type)
➡ Learn what to eat for your body
➡ Practice mindfulness meditation about tapping into your body rather than focus solely on the diet/food aspect and how they relate to one another
