Birding for Beginners

April 27 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am

FREE

Did you know that birding is the fastest-growing outdoor sport in the United States? It’s true! Missouri is visited by several hundred species of birds, from majestic raptors to tiny, colorful warblers. Enjoying our feathered friends is an activity that people of any age and skill level can enjoy. Join us to learn the basics, and get a chance to see some of the birds that call our area home! Binoculars and a bird guide are recommended, but will also be available to borrow during the program for visitors who would like to try them out!
Thousand Hills State Park is located 2 miles west of Kirksville on Hwy 157
