Christmas on the Radio

An event every day that begins at 7:00pm, repeating until December 15, 2018
Christmas on the Radio: The Bishop’s Wife, A Curtain Call Theater production.
Discouraged in his efforts to raise money to build a cathedral, Bishop Henry Brougham asks heaven for guidance, and is visited immediately by Dudley, who claims to be an angel. At first skeptical, Henry quickly becomes annoyed as Dudley integrates himself into the parish as his assistant, winning the admiration of everyone—especially Henry’s wife. As Dudley continues to intervene in Henry’s affairs, the Bishop comes to several realizations. This hilarious story is both heart-rendering and sobering as it reminds us what Christmas, and life, is really all about.
Performances will be held on December 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th, and 15th. Doors open at 6:30 pm with the play starting at 7 pm. Tickets will be $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12 years of age. You can purchase tickets in advance at HyVee starting November 24th or at the door on the night of the performance (if not sold out).
