Discover Nature Fishing: Lesson 1

Join the Missouri Department of Conservation on Free Fishing Weekend to learn about the basics of fishing! Staff will be on hand to show you how to cast or rig a rod as well as proper fish handling techniques. The classroom session will start at 9 am, transitioning to the pond by 9:30. For this weekend only, participants are not required to purchase a permit prior to the class. However, they are required to pre-register to attend this class. For any questions, please call the Hannibal Office at 573-248-2530. Reservable class seats are limited.
Registration is required by June 7th. This class is open to all ages, however anyone 15 years of age or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
