Adair County Public Library

Description:The Adair County Public Library offers an array of programs and short courses for both children and adults, along with reading clubs, workshops, book sales, and hands-on activities. The library also hosts performers and storytellers for children throughout the summer months. Kirksville Area Technical Center (KATC)

Description:The KATC offers a wide variety of educational and recreational opportunities. Community education courses range from 1-day workshops such as “Beginning Gardening,” “Computer Basics,” and “Estate Planning” to ongoing classes in “Country Dance” and “Guitar Instruction.” Adult Education and Career Training programs include occupations in Healthcare, Technology, Construction, and Automotive Repair. Additionally, the KATC administers certification processes and standardized exams such as the ACT.
Kirksville Arts Association & Sue Ross Arts Center

Description:The Kirksville Arts Center offers a variety of classes, presentations, and art shows throughout the year. Workshops in paper crafts, basket weaving, journal creation, fiber art, metalwork, and painting are just a few among the many offered, and an “Art in the Park” summer series for children. Truman State University
